Programming File I/O, creating new processes and intercommunicate between processes through pipes and network programming using sockets is probably too much for students who still struggle to write a "hello world" program in C. These lectures have been foreseen only for the case that the embedded systems devices would not be available when needed due to delivery delays.

In this case they will be added.

This is a point where one of the UCC lecturers could try his skills, write the lecture and replace this text by the real lectures.
